Because it’s an excuse. It’s an excuse to never get better, never improve, and lord your god-awful, STOLEN style over people who have worked hard to create their own art. Anime isn’t original, and honestly, I hate people who use “it’s a hobby” as a way to excuse their despicable attitudes. I’ve never met ONE popular animu artist who wasn’t a complete douchebag with their head way too far up their own ass.

haha this sounds like someone I once knew. Used as an excuse to steal other ideas and character designs over and over again, also thinks their god and an asshole about it and to tell you the truth im not sure if I have met a nice anime artist other than personally known ones, but ill stop you at anime isnt original cause it seems you are saying all art is original except anime which is not true.

Like all kinds of art the Toyota looks like a Honda, realism will always look the same and is the same old art as well cause well your drawing the same flowers and body types (except the face parts which I can agree allot of anime/animus love to draw the same), the paintings back then was a fad or the same and was boring to the people who lived in the era because everyone wanted to draw a naked, Christianized lady with flowing fabric (though I read this in an article m not sure if its to the extreme with anime). I know its hard and its popular and I know the difference from animu and anime art (and if no one knows the difference then well, maybe next time I can explain) but just like back then youll have to find the artist you like.

I mean if you look at American comics its also the same as well, big chest small waist…men and woman haha, chiseled blah blah blah. Some even mixed with the anime style which at times are creepy, the women hardly evolved like they are using the same actress/actor for the main characters (the mean type, the boy type, the prankster and so on). As for animu………sigh
