My chun li cosplay costume designed by me. I say since im a black cosplayer and im damaging the rules of cosplay cause im not light skinned or Asian, im going to change this cosplay to my needs. My rules if you look different you make it different enough to fit you and the character Another rule  for cosplayers of the opposite skin/race “Im not cosplaying the character. The character is cosplaying me.” or “im already bending the rules so bend them to my needs” you should keep the personality (cause everyone can have that) and hair (there are wigs out there) , buns will be huge fabric flowers (that the character turning to me), ill have bright brown circle lens (contrast, she has dark eyes and light skin ill have dark skin light eyes) and maybe I should make a tutorial of all cosplayers that dont match the race and or skin color of that character. Basicall dont change too much or anything that can be changed. Like I said wigs are easy to get to (though im not going to use a bright as yellow unless it fits my skin , but will look for a toned down blond or something) eyes can change cause of lens , now makeup of course have to fit you (for me blush more on the side of purple not red/pink)……..I cant wait to make a tutorial for it.
